1. Find the best freelancer
The first and most important step to hire a seller is to find the best freelancer in his niche.
You have to find a freelancer that can help you to fulfill your project needs. Once you’ve one then you can proceed to the next step.
To find a freelancer, 1st go to Fiverr and search your project main words. And as you press enter, Fiverr will display thousands of freelancers along with their gig titles within the Fiverr.
Now you’ve to sort your desired freelancer from the Fiverr search results. Make sure he/she must have these qualities;
- Must not be new to the Fiverr platform.
- Must have completed some project before.
- Must have positive ratings of past work.
- Must have in-depth knowledge in this niche.
2. Discuss the project with the freelancer
Once you finalize a freelancer, it’s time to preview his gig, portfolio (Past Sample), and customer reviews.
1st go to the gig and read out what he is offering and how much he charges you. I highly recommend you to must check his gig description.
So that you can easily get an idea about what you’re going to get.
Next, check out his past sample and reviews of his past clients. On Fiverr, you can easily check the seller’s past work from the images box.
But if you don’t find out his past work then you need to contact the seller and ask him for samples.
You can easily do this from the contact seller button below the gig prices box. If you any queries about the seller or his service then you can ask him in the chatbox.
If you found any confusion in the gig price and service then feel free to ask the seller. Once both of you agree then you can create a custom order for your project.
3. Find the best package to buy
If you’re agreed on the prices and service that a seller is offering in his gig. Then you can move to decide the best package to order.
On Fiverr, a seller can offer 3 different pricing plans for his single gig. And it all depends on the seller, how much he will charge for his service.
Once you land on the gig, you will see three different plans offers by the seller. It’s up to you which one you buy depending upon your project.
Pro Tip: Some of the sellers (especially new sellers) also give discounts to their 1st-time buyers. I recommend you to 1st ask the buyer for a discount. If not then you can move to the next step.
4. Order a gig package
Once found your desired package, you can proceed to order from the seller. So that you can get your project to be done as soon as possible.
Before this step, make sure you’re done with previous steps of this post especially 1st and 2nd.
To order the package, you’ve open the seller gig page. Here you’ll see a continue button on the bottom of the gig pricing.
As you click the continue button, you’ll be moved to the next page. Here Fiverr will ask you about customizing your package.
On this page, you can customize the number of orders or add any extra service.
Once you are done with it, you have to click the continue to checkout button on the right side.
Next, you’ll be redirected to the next payment page. Here you will see two boxes, 1st will have all package detail including the Fiverr fee and 2nd will have the payment box.
After reviewing this, you’ve to enter your payment details. Fiverr offers two payment methods, 1st using credit or debit cards and 2nd using PayPal digital banking.
5. Send required project details
As you’ve done with payment, you’ll be a move to the page. Here you’ve to give some details about your project.
These details will be asked by the seller to get an idea about the work that a buyer wants.
For example; In my article writing gig, I asked the buyer about the topic, main keyword, and the competing article. This helps me to understand the buyer’s mind and then I deliver the order according.

Once you are done with the details, the seller will receive a message about your order. And Fiverr will start countdown about the delivery time mentioned in the gig.
